CTG has extensive experience in Heating and Cooling Systems, interfacing with Building Management Systems, coordinating Electrical Reticulation Systems upgrades, undertaking all Plumbing and Drainage [including Gas] works, working with Fire Alarming & Detection assets, maintaining Power Supply connectivity, actioning new and repair Building fabric works. CTG provides Project Management expertise to ensure Clients receive services to the specified level of outcomes.

Our Company Operational & Procedural Statements

The Parent Company is Combined Refrigeration Services Pty Ltd and Trades As: Combined Trades Group [CTG for short] to best describe the scope of Trades Support activity available in this “one stop” business for all your Maintenance and Infrastructure services.

CTG has since 2002 been a key provide of building, plumbing, electrical, data, mechanical and refrigeration services to a wide range of Commercial, Industrial plus Defence and Education Sector client groups. CTG undertakes new construction, renovations, retrofit, general build activities with extensive experience in:

Asset management and maintenance including condition reporting for life-cycle

Airconditioning and refrigeration specialist design, repair, refit, and operational maintenance including linkages with Building Management Systems interface, chillers maintenance/repair;

Comprehensive Electrical services management for light, power, legislative safety devices, energy efficiency, power distribution, controls, UPS, HV switching, installation & maintenance, emergency & exit lighting systems, airfield lighting installations and maintenance;

Airfield hangar door maintenance, bulk fuel hazardous areas electrical installations particularly around airfield operations;

Plumbing repairs, upgrade, replacement including fire water systems, detectors
performance/advice, Hydrants, Booster Pumps, RPZ, extinguishers, fire hose reels, water infrastructure;

Carpentry and general building installations, refits, renovations;

Diesel mechanical services including engines, compressors, generators.

CTG operates on a 24-hours, 365-days support arrangement with Contracted Clients to ensure peace of mind for business partners in delivery of their service requirements. We maintain a modern fleet of vehicles and have invested in essential plant and equipment to facilitate comprehensive response capability at an economical rate.

CTG operates from Oakey, Toowoomba and Ipswich with coverage to existing Clients in these regional areas for Spotless as Contract Manager on behalf of Defence establishments on the Darling Downs and Wallangarra & Stanthorpe plus the University of Southern Queensland servicing Toowoomba, Ipswich, Springfield & Stanthorpe campus environments.


Relationship management with Clients is a key focus to ensure we deliver to our best capability and engage with our Clients on a regular basis to seek feedback;

Supply chain management is examined on a regular basis to meet expectations for economy, efficiency, social-responsibility goals, and effectiveness of market awareness;

Compliments and Complaints are reviewed at the highest level of CTG and key learnings shared with Company Staff;

KPI integration within our scope of services is important and is monitored to assess parameter variances; remedial action is taken in a timely manner to adhere to Client and CTG expectations;

Management expertise has been reinforced to recognize improvement strategies, be consistent in contract management, project management, and workplace health and safety compliance;

Corporate goals and strategies are published/reviewed and shared with Staff for business continuity and sustainability;

ASIC and Contractor Licensing are maintained to comply with corporate responsibilities.

Contractual Relationships

CTG has long term maintenance and trade services contracts with Defence and Education Sector Clients [Tertiary, Secondary/Primary segments] plus has consistent business relations with a number of commercial businesses and contractors;

Contract renewals are common for CTG as Clients recognise the financial and service benefits achieved on a recurrent basis;

Pricing is able to be option-configured thereby providing Clients with alternatives that still comply or complement the original intent or desired outcome.

Projects Control

CTG is Staffed by highly experienced Directors with wide ranging commercial expertise; each having a thorough knowledge of project control and reporting mechanisms with proven results;

Financial & timeline checkpoints are investigated with a view to ensure completeness; strategies are applied to regain time-commitments so as to not affect Client delivery expectations;

Variations [if required] are detailed for Clients to ensure transparency and decision­making is supported with factual information.

Company Support

CTG is well supported with proven administrative systems managed by highly skilled Administrative Staff covering business, financial, contractual, and human resource management; qualifications are held in strategic contract management, financial management, leadership, project management, training and development;

A dedicated OH&S Officer is employed for involvement with and management of legislative and good practice workplace health and safety within CTG;

Technology usage and integration within the Company is well developed; the investment has enabled CTG to streamline its operations, deploy Tablets and mobile technology to allow Trades Staff interactions and communications in a time-efficient manner;

Data management is a key capability along with a strong desire to access and utilize Client-interface technology.
